About Beit Zaytoon
Beit Zaytoon is a lebanese restaurant in West Hempstead, New York. It is listed at 468 Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, NY 11552, which places it among the local businesses of West Hempstead that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 12β9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Beit Zaytoon at (516) 483-3941; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is beitzaytoon.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 198 reviews, which is a strong result for a lebanese restaurant in West Hempstead and suggests consistent service.
West Hempstead is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in West Hempstead peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Really really nice spot. My gf and I got the Samboussek Lahme (crispy pita dumpling with minced lamb) for our appetizer, which was really really yummy and so well seasoned. For the main we just got Kafka Yoghurtlieh. The yogurt sauce was REALLY GOOD, really unique I donβt think Iβve had a yogurt sauce like that. The rice was also really good and the Kofta was obviously delicious. Would definitely come back.

We visited Beyt Zaytoon after seeing great reviews online while we were in Hempstead. First, the gentleman who seated us was very welcoming and the restaurant was clean, which we appreciated. We ordered hummus, falafel, fries and 2 chicken shawarma plates. The falafel was good and crispy. However, we were disappointed with the shawarma β it didnβt have the typical shawarma seasoning/flavor and for $25 per plate we expected more. The hummus was also just ok. With no kids menu and a $105 bill for 4 items, we left feeling it wasnβt worth the price. We wanted to love it based on the reviews, but left feeling it wasnβt worth the money. Hope they can work on seasoning and portion size because the service was nice.

A true hidden gem for Lebanese cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with care, but what really stood out was their incredible hospitality. The staff was so warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

It was ok honestly. The good the meat was a bit not cooked to my preference but not bad. I got the mixed grill. The water is not complimentary lol

Tried Lebanese food for the first time at Beit Zaytoon and it truly felt like discovering a hidden gem. I ordered the lamb chops while my husband had the chicken shawarma, and both plates came with rice, vegetables, and a fresh salad with a homemade dressing that was incredibly tasty and unlike anything weβve had before. The drinks were homemade too - we had the lemonade and iced tea - and the presentation of everything was beautiful, right down to the mint sprigs in the glasses that added such a nice touch. We were served by the owner, Elias, who was warm, personable, and provided impeccable service the entire time. Even though we didnβt order dessert, he surprised us with baklava on the house - delicate flaky layers topped with honey and pistachios that were absolutely delicious. If youβre looking for a relaxing place to enjoy great Lebanese food, Beit Zaytoon is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is comfortable, welcoming, and not cramped at all.
